Split a long video into parts
Cuts a clip into fixed-length pieces — for a series of shorts, or when an upload limit forces you to break a recording up. Nothing is re-encoded, so even a long file finishes quickly at the original quality.

FAQ
Before you start
- Will each part be exactly 60 seconds?
- Cuts land on keyframes, so parts come out near the length you asked for. Hitting it exactly means re-encoding, which would take minutes per 20-minute file in a browser. Quality and speed won that trade.
- Does splitting cost quality?
- No. The streams are copied as they are, so every part matches the source.
- Can I get all the parts at once?
- "Download all" saves them one after another. Browsers block a burst of simultaneous downloads, so they are handled in sequence.
- Can it split at scene changes automatically?
- Yes. Pick "at scene changes" and press "find scenes": it looks for the points where the picture changes sharply and cuts there. It has to read through the whole clip, so it takes a while; adjust the sensitivity if you get too many or too few. Changes closer together than two seconds are merged.
