FAQ

Before you start

01
Why only 40 seconds?
An iPhone refuses a longer ringtone. That is the format's limit rather than ours, so a longer selection uses its first 40 seconds.
02
How do I get it onto the phone?
Move the saved .m4r with iTunes (Windows) or Finder (Mac), then pick it under Settings › Sounds & Haptics. An iPhone cannot install a ringtone by itself — that is Apple's restriction.
03
What about Android?
Android takes an MP3 directly as a ringtone. Use "Trim an MP3" and save the part you want.
