FAQ
Before you start
- How far can I push it?
- This is a gain multiplier, so past 200% the loudest parts distort first (clipping). For a quiet recording, 150–200% while listening is the safe range.
- Can I remove the sound entirely?
- Set the volume to 0% and it exports silent. If you plan to add music instead, mute the original and lay a track over it.
- Can I quiet just one section?
- The "Multi video + BGM" tab lets you mark individual ranges as silent. Whole-clip volume lives in the Effects tab.
- My clips are all at different levels — do I match them by hand?
- Turn on auto-levelling and each export is brought to the broadcast target (-16 LUFS): quiet parts up, loud parts down. Clips end up at comparable loudness without hunting for a multiplier. The volume slider is ignored while it is on.
