- What quality do I get?
- LAME VBR quality 2 (around 190kbps) at 44.1kHz stereo. It cannot be better than the source, but speech and music both come out hard to tell from the original.
- Can I extract only part of the video?
- Trim to the range you need first, then extract.
- Can I keep the original audio codec?
- Only MP3 for now — it is the format every device and app plays without argument.
